This
unit consists of two resistances and a coupling capacitor and provided
a compact way to couple one valve stage to the next. They were used in
the Ediswan RC Threesome home constructor set and the construction booklet
includes a description of this unit - it can be downloaded from the Radio
Literature section of this site - click

Each resistance is in a glass enclosure and the Ediswan
name is stamped on the end caps. The remains of the paper labels read
"Anode" and "Grid". The coupling capacitor is made
of mica and is sandwiched between two ebonite base plates and connects
the grid ("G") terminal and the anode ("P") terminal.
The RC unit cost 7 shillings in 1927.
