Igranic produced standard and tapped HF transformers that covered the long wave and medium wave bands. Four coil sizes were available and the one shown in photos opposite is a Range One coil that covers 170-420 metres when used with a 0.0005 uF dual capacitor on the primary.

The HF transformer primary and secondary are wound using the honeycomb duolateral method found on aerial tuning coils and connections are made through a standard fitting four pin valve socket at its base. A scan of the leaflet that came with the transformer is shown opposite (click to enlarge).
